Nothing Counts
FORMING IN OCTOBER OF 2002, without a bass guitarist, Nothing Counts is off to a great start in the music world. In December 2002, Brandon Tice (guitar/vocals), Kyle Cord (guitar/vocals) and Payton Yeager (drums) recorded a 5-song Live Demo CD in Brandon’s basement. (more…)
Sovereign
Sovereign began with two guys, Steve and J.P., just wanting to play music. They eventually found a second guitar player (Bleu Quillin) and bass player (Jack Ortiz); witch left Steve singing until they found a permanent replacement. Sovereign stayed with this line up for about 2 years, give or take. (more…)
Last Place
Last Place is a local 4-piece pop punk band from Clinton, IA. They’ve been together for over a year now. The band started out as a metal band, believe it or not. They finally realized that the metal thing just wasn’t quite what fit them, when they attended a NFG/Blink 182 concert, and knew that this is the kind of music they wanted to play. (more…)

“The Mind is shapely, so the art is shapely.” So sprach Jack Kerouac and thus is the ethos of the 4-piece original rock band known as cLoNe. cLoNe is an ill-defined group hailing from the perpetual wasteland known as Central Illinois. With their roots in Punk ethics and Metal/Alternative music stylings, CLoNe births a sound oddly defined as Buddha Rock…reminiscent of screamo acts like Thursday and Glassjaw, yet retaining moments of power pop, metal, stupid humor, and Sonic Youth-like postmodernity.
