Sovereign
Sovereign began with two guys, Steve and J.P., just wanting to play music. They eventually found a second guitar player (Bleu Quillin) and bass player (Jack Ortiz); witch left Steve singing until they found a permanent replacement. Sovereign stayed with this line up for about 2 years, give or take. They played mainly cover songs and did the occasional show here and there. Eventually Blue and Jack parted ways and left Sovereign in search of replacements. It didn’t take them long however to find another guitar player, Pat Whitmer. The three started playing and decided they wanted to start playing their own music witch ultimately left them in search for a permanent singer. Ryan Espe was found and stood above the rest that came to audition. So now Sovereign was almost complete except for a bass player. Pat introduced Scott Walker to the band as a potential bass player, but everyone knew that his guitar abilities were extremely great. So Pat gladly stepped aside, let Scott play guitar, picked up a bass and then Sovereign was complete. Eventually Pat left the band to go to college, so Sovereign found Dustin Leyendecker from a friend of the band. Sovereign continues to write music and play it with it a passion.
